California Court: Requiring Zip Code for Credit Card Purchase at the Pump Does Not Violate the Law

Chevron USA, Inc., Case No. B240477, the California Court of Appeal held that gas station operators did not violate the Credit Card Act when they required credit cards purchasers to 'write down their zip codes as a condition to accepting their credit card as payment.”
